Film-looking old style Engagement Session @ SF Chinatown

When K & F got in touch with me, they said they wanted photos with that 80s/90s Hong Kong style wedding photo vibe and even shared some examples. These were taken on film and showed people naturally having fun rather than posing like perfect models.

They were laughing, joking, and even making silly faces at each other.

I thought, Woah! This is going to be a blast! As an Asian Photographer from Hong Kong, this is built for me!

We then planned the photoshoot, thinking about the color style, outfits, and location to make sure this engagement session matched their vision perfectly.

In the end, we picked San Francisco's Chinatown because it has that awesome vintage feel.

They said they're not the kind of couple who loves posing for the camera, but they were so playful. I encouraged them to just relax and be themselves.

The photos turned out perfectly!
